Breakfast under the palm trees, long evenings by the barbecue with sea views, and spring-like weather all year round

For sale is a beautiful Canarian retreat designed for enjoying life: a sunny terrace, a sheltered garden, a spacious barbecue area, a separate pajero and the relaxed lifestyle that makes the south of La Palma so special.

Casa Titi is not an ordinary house. It is one of those places where you immediately feel the care, taste and attention that have gone into its restoration, decoration and maintenance over the years.

The property combines the character of a traditional Canarian home with a beautifully coordinated interior design, natural stone elements, carefully selected furniture and outdoor spaces that feel almost like a second living room.

Life here is not confined to the house itself. It extends naturally onto the terrace, beneath the large palm tree, into the garden and around the barbecue area, all with glimpses of the Atlantic in the background.

Interior Spaces Full of Character

The interiors of Casa Titi have a very distinctive personality and reflect the charm of a property whose origins date back to 1918.

The furnishings have been carefully chosen to complement the style of the house: warm materials, well-matched furniture, traditional details and a harmonious overall atmosphere. Nothing feels random or out of place.

Particularly attractive are the home's unique rooms:

One bedroom features an unusual rounded shape and a charming window nook, creating an intimate and cosy atmosphere.

The second, generously sized bedroom is enhanced by exposed natural stone walls. These original features add warmth, texture and the authentic character of a traditional Canarian home.

The spacious open-plan living and dining area with kitchen is bright and welcoming thanks to its large floor-to-ceiling windows opening directly onto the terrace and garden. From here, daily life flows naturally outdoors — exactly where much of life on La Palma is meant to be enjoyed.

Outdoor Living: Terrace, Garden and Barbecue Area

One of Casa Titi’s greatest attractions is its outdoor space.

The elegant terrace opens directly onto the garden, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. At its centre, an old millstone serves as a reminder of the island’s agricultural heritage and gives this space a truly special atmosphere.

A large palm tree, bougainvillea, oleanders, cacti and other subtropical plants create a mature and distinctly Canarian garden setting.

The generous barbecue area is much more than a place to cook outdoors. It is a dedicated space for long dinners, gatherings with friends and family, and relaxed evenings enjoying the island lifestyle.

The garden is sheltered, easy to maintain and offers pleasant views and inviting corners in which to relax throughout the year.

Traditional Canarian Pajero with Multiple Possible Uses

In addition to the main house, the property includes a traditional Canarian pajero, offering far more than simple storage space.

Behind its historic wooden doors lies a charming room with a beautiful high exposed timber ceiling, traditional Canarian-style tiled flooring and a small kitchen. Whether used as an artist's studio, workshop, hobby room, summer kitchen or simply as a unique retreat, this space offers a wide range of possibilities and has a truly distinctive character.

Additional Storage Space

The property also benefits from a spacious basement (sótano) and a separate storage room (trastero). These provide ample space for garden equipment, tools, supplies or technical installations, allowing the main living areas to remain tidy, uncluttered and well organised.

WHAT'S AROUND THE CORNER?
=> Fuencaliente

FUENCALIENTE is La Palma's southernmost municipality, which also affects the temperature. The landscape here is extremely varied. In addition to the San Antonio and Teneguía volcanoes, there are excellent wine-growing areas, hiking trails, a marine reserve, salt flats and pine forests.

The extensive coastline of Fuencaliente also offers a symphony of small beaches and enchanted bays with fishing rocks!

Tips:

San Antonio volcano: The San Antonio volcano erupted at the turn of the year from 1677 to 1678, burying fertile pastures, the hot sacred springs of Fuencaliente and a phonolite rock, which was the sanctuary of the indigenous people of La Palma, under its lava masses.

A visit to the information centre here is a must! It is simply an ideal place to learn about the history of volcanic activity on La Palma.

But it is also worth a visit for the spectacular view of the neighbouring islands of El Hierro and La Gomera, as well as the Teneguía volcano!

El Faro de Fuencaliente: Here you can admire two lighthouses, the old and the new Fuencaliente lighthouses. More than just a photo opportunity! Fancy a swim? The small Playa del Faro de Fuencaliente beach awaits you! You can admire beautiful sunsets on this beach!

Las Salinas: Right next to the lighthouse are the salt flats, which have been declared an area of scientific interest because they are also a resting place for many migratory birds. Nature's colour palette paints the salt flats in a spectacle that is more than worth seeing!

Las Salinas de Fuencaliente is a family business that was founded in 1967 and has been supplying the whole island with salt ever since. Today, the company is run by the third generation of the same family, who continue the tradition of salt production and produce 100% natural salt.

Restaurante Temático El Jardín de la Sal: Here you can not only enjoy good food and take in the colour contrasts of the landscape, but also learn about the salt production process and buy exquisite products such as Fleur de Sel.

La Iglesia de San Antonio Abad: This impressive church (1522) captivates visitors with its whitewashed hemp roof and beautiful stone bell tower.

Playa Punta Larga: Fancy fishing, swimming and barbecuing? And authentic Palmerian life on the beach? Then discover Punta Larga!

Playa La Zamora: Playa La Zamora consists of two black sand bays: Zamora Grande & Zamora Chica. Separated by a large rock, they lie picturesquely next to each other. At low tide, you can walk from the first bay to the second. A wonderful place, not only for swimming, diving and, above all, snorkelling!

Playa Nueva: Playa Nueva is a 275-metre-long, very young beach, born from the lava of the 1971 eruption of the Teneguía volcano. At the foot of a nearby cliff, there are also two small seawater pools.

Nearby is the entrance to Fuente Santa, the famous ‘holy spring’ with healing thermal waters, which was buried by the eruption of the San Antonio volcano in 1677 and rediscovered in 2000.

El Bar Parada: Here, ‘almendrados palmeros’, a typical sweet from La Palma, are prepared on site using traditional methods. A MUST for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Bodegas Teneguía: Bodegas Teneguía is one of the most award-winning wineries in the Canary Islands. Visit and taste!

...and much more!!!
