INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PROPERTY LISTINGS
Our property listings are based on information and documents provided by the owners or other competent bodies, as well as on our own findings.
We process and review this information carefully. However, we cannot guarantee information whose accuracy we are unable to verify conclusively ourselves. All information and documents essential to a purchase decision will be clarified with the parties before a binding agreement is concluded.
Our listings are non-binding. Prices, availability and other information may change. A binding property purchase agreement is concluded exclusively between the buyer and the seller. Statutory rights and claims remain unaffected.
EXTERNAL LINKS
Our website contains links to external websites and social networks. Data is only transmitted to their operators when you access one of these links. From that point onwards, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
The respective operator is responsible for external content. If we become aware of unlawful content, we will remove the relevant link.
COPYRIGHT
Texts, photographs, videos and other content created by us may not be reproduced, modified or otherwise used without our prior consent. Third-party rights remain unaffected.
PRIVACY POLICY
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data is the company named above, MI CASA EN LA PALMA INMOBILIARIA S.L.
Contact for data protection matters: info@mi-casa-en-la-palma.com
2. Data we process
We only process data required for an enquiry, viewing or property brokerage service.
This includes in particular:
• name and contact details
• the content of the enquiry and correspondence
• information about interest in a property
• data required to organise and document viewings
• for a specific purchase or sale, the necessary identity, contractual, payment and property data
As a rule, we obtain the data directly from you. You may also contact us through a property portal, a communication service chosen by you or a person involved in the property transaction.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data in order to:
• respond to enquiries
• organise viewings
• perform and document our brokerage activities
• prepare and assist with property purchases and sales
• comply with legal obligations
• operate our website securely
• establish, exercise or defend legal claims
Depending on the matter concerned, the legal bases are pre-contractual measures and contracts, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in maintaining secure business operations and documenting our activities (Art. 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR).
We only send additional property listings when expressly requested. Consent granted for this purpose may be withdrawn at any time with future effect.
4. Contact forms
When you use our contact form, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry and any property brokerage service that may result from it.
We require mandatory information in order to process your enquiry. Any additional information is voluntary. The enquiry is stored in the system of our website provider, Wix, and forwarded to our business email address.
5. Website, Wix and technical data
Our website is operated using Wix.com Ltd. When you access the website, technically necessary data may be processed, particularly your IP address, the time of access, browser and device information, and the page visited.
This processing is necessary to provide the website securely, detect errors and compile general usage statistics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functional website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Under its current configuration, our website does not use analytics or marketing cookies that require consent. In particular, Google Analytics, Google Tag, Meta Pixel and comparable advertising or tracking services have not been configured.
Our property videos are provided through the Wix Video Player. YouTube and our social media profiles are merely linked and are not embedded as external content.
If the technical configuration changes and consent is required in the future, the relevant services will only be loaded after consent has been obtained and this Privacy Policy will be updated.
6. Email and communication services
We use Google Workspace for our business emails and document management.
If you contact us through WhatsApp, Telegram or another communication service, the provider you have chosen will also process data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We only use that communication channel for the communication requested by you. Alternatively, you may contact us by email or telephone.
7. Recipients of data
We only disclose data when this is necessary to handle an enquiry, provide property brokerage services or comply with legal obligations.
Recipients may include buyers, sellers, authorised representatives, notaries, registries, authorities, tax advisers, gestores, lawyers and other professionals involved in the transaction. Wix and Google process data as our technical service providers.
We do not sell personal data or disclose it for third-party advertising purposes.
8. Processing outside the European Economic Area
When using Wix, Google Workspace and voluntarily selected communication services or social networks, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area.
Where no adequacy decision by the European Commission exists, data is transferred on the basis of appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information is available from us upon request.
9. Retention period
We only retain data for as long as it is required for the relevant purpose.
Enquiries that do not result in a business relationship are deleted once they have been fully dealt with and no further contact is expected. Data used to send expressly requested additional property listings is retained until consent is withdrawn.
Documents relating to specific brokerage services and property transactions are retained for the periods required by law. Documents subject to anti-money laundering retention requirements are generally retained for ten years after the end of the business relationship or completion of the transaction. This period does not apply generally to non-binding enquiries.
After the applicable periods have expired, the data is deleted or anonymised.
