Imagine: a paradise in a sunny, secluded location, where you are awakened in the morning by the gentle breeze of the Atlantic and the splashing of your own pool. A place where every sunset is unique and simply beautiful! You are not in a luxurious holiday resort – you are at home.
Add to that a dash of living history: the large, light-filled villa is located between the foothills of the two volcanoes that have given this area its character, the San Juan volcano in 1949 and the Tajogaite volcano in September 2021. But this enchanted place has been completely spared! It is now simply nestled in a truly unique setting!
Casa La Majada now stands on a 2,400 m² plot of land, consisting of two lovingly designed apartments that can be used individually or connected to each other. An ideal place for those looking for the best of both worlds: a private retreat to relax in and a lucrative opportunity for holiday rentals.
Each of the two apartments is flooded with light and offers an open-plan kitchen with adjoining living area, a spacious bedroom and a modern bathroom with shower. There are also storage rooms for additional storage space. The covered terraces extend the living space outdoors and offer unparalleled views of the deep blue Atlantic Ocean.
The centrepiece of this property is undoubtedly the large, 1.60 m deep saltwater swimming pool. Thanks to a modern salt chlorination system, the water quality is maintained naturally – a treat for the skin and the environment.
The spacious sun terrace by the pool with outdoor shower invites you to relax, while the well-tended garden with barbecue area promises perfect evenings under the open sky.
The architecture of the house combines traditional style with modern construction. The high ceilings with Canarian wood construction give the rooms a warm, inviting atmosphere. The double-glazed windows and doors ensure durability and protection. The Spanish ceramic tile floors are not only stylish but also easy to maintain. The solid ‘doble pared’ construction – a double wall construction with an insulating layer in between – ensures a pleasant indoor climate in every season.
The house is fully connected to modern infrastructure: electricity, water, internet (Vodafone 4G) and television are available.
The garden extends directly in front of the house and, in addition to many ornamental plants, is also planted with several fruit trees, including nispero, mango, passion fruit and grapevines, which are supplied by an irrigation system. The area also offers enough space for your creative gardening and landscaping, such as growing additional Mediterranean plants, creating herb and vegetable beds or creating idyllic resting places. There are no limits to your imagination here.
Las Norias enjoys one of the best climates in La Palma – warm and sunny. The location is impressive due to its proximity to everything that makes life pleasant. The vibrant centre of Los Llanos with shopping, restaurants, cafés and medical care is only 15 minutes away. Those who love the sea will find the beautiful beaches of Puerto Naos and Charco Verde only 10-15 minutes away by car.
Another advantage for investors: the property has official approval for rural tourism (Turismo Rural). The licence is tied to the house as a property, so it also applies to the new owner. A unique opportunity to use the house both as a private retreat and as a source of income!

WHAT'S AROUND THE CORNER?
=> Los Llanos de Aridane
LOS LLANOS DE ARIDANE, located in the centre of the fertile Aridane Valley, is the largest and most populous town on La Palma and is often referred to as the ‘unofficial capital of the island’. In any case, Los Llanos is a town with charm and character!
If you live here, you will love the friendly people, traditional culture and relaxed lifestyle of this community.
Los Llanos is known for its beautiful squares, parks and gardens, where you can relax and enjoy nature. In the heart of the town is the Plaza de España, a large square surrounded by charming shops, restaurants and bars. Cultural events are held here regularly, including concerts, art exhibitions and festivals.
Tips:
Kiosco Aridane: Not to be missed in the Plaza de España in Los Llanos de Aridane, where concerts and events are also held throughout the year. Locals and tourists alike meet here for a coffee, a glass of wine or some tapas. The kiosk is surrounded by ancient Indian laurel trees, which are also one of the town's landmarks.
Mercado de Los Llanos: Here you will find fruit, vegetables, spices, wines, cheese, local products, baked goods, flowers and fresh fish. And everything is healthy, fresh and regional.
Parque Antonio Gómez Felipe: A botanical garden of a special kind: architecture (the work of island artist Luis Moreno) and nature become one.
Museo Arqueológico Benahoarita: This archaeological museum offers fascinating insights into the prehistoric culture of the indigenous people of La Palma.
La Playa de Charco Verde: Fine black sand, plenty of space for your beach towel, gentle surf, showers and a bar right on the sand. Not too crowded... And: a true snorkelling paradise!
Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios: This 15th-century church is a fine example of Mudéjar architecture. It also houses the statue of the Virgen de Los Remedios, patron saint of the municipality.
Fiestas: An important festival in the municipality is that of the Virgen de las Angustias, celebrated on 15 August.
Every two years, on 2 July, the famous festivities in honour of the patron saint La Virgen de Los Remedios are celebrated with a variety of events.
Rastro de Argual: A must-see! You'll never leave empty-handed and you'll want to come back as often as you can! The flea market takes place every Sunday morning (until around 2 p.m.).
Repostería Matilde Arroyo: Traditional pastry shop with more than 50 years of history and a gold medal for the best pastry shop in the Canary Islands in 2008 with the best Bienmesabe in the world: ‘El Mejor Bienmesabe del mundo’!
Restaurante El Rincón de Moraga: Miriam Cruz runs the new Rincón de Moraga, which is aiming for La Palma's first Michelin star. So let's go!
Restaurante LA COLONIAL 25: Cultivated, stylish, exquisite and at the same time a place of well-being – the gourmet address on Calle Real in Los Llanos. Creative cuisine with a traditional touch, made from fresh regional products and exquisite international ingredients.

and much more!!!
